Stock Market: Upbeat Economic Survey Leads to New Buying
The stock market has seen a surge in new buying for the fourth consecutive day. The Economic Survey 2024-25 has been optimistic with encouragement, due to which there was an all-round buying of stocks. As a result, the Sensex of the Mumbai Stock Exchange rose by 740 points to close at 77,500. The Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange rose by 258 points to close at 23,508.
