સિક્યોરિટી ટ્રાન્ઝક્શન ટેક્સમાં ફેરફાર થવા જઈ રહ્યો છે. ફ્યુચર એન્ડ ઓપ્શન (F&O) ના ટ્રેડિંગ પર સિક્યોરિટી ટ્રાન્ઝક્સન ટેક્સ (STT)માં વધારો 1 ઓકટોબર, 2024થી વધારો થવા જઈ રહ્યો છે. ઈક્વિટીના એફ એન્ડ ઓમાં ટેક્સનો દર ક્રમશઃ 0.02 ટકા અને 0.01 ટકા સુધી વધી જશે. તે ઉપરાંત શેર બાયબેકના કિસ્સામાં મળનારી આવક પર હવે યોગ્ય આવકના આધાર પર ટેક્સ લગાવવામાં આવશે. ઓપ્શન કોન્ટ્રેક્ટના વેચાણ પર એસટીટી પ્રિમિયમ 0.0625થી વધી 0.1 ટકા થશે. પહેલી એકટોબરથી ફ્યુચર ઓપ્શનમાં ટ્રાન્ઝક્શન મોંઘુ થશે.
Stock Market: Changes in Securities Transaction Tax
Security transaction tax is going to change. The increase in Security Transaction Tax (STT) on trading of Future and Option (F&O) is going to increase from October 1, 2024. The tax rate on equity F&O will increase to 0.02 per cent and 0.01 per cent respectively. Apart from this, the income received in case of share buyback will now be taxed on the basis of proper income. The STT premium on sale of option contracts will increase by 0.1 percent from 0.0625. Transactions in future options will become expensive from October 1.
